I've been collecting tattoos for 9 years now (wow...that has to sink in for a sec...)and don't see myself stopping. After your first tattoo you either love the process or hate it. I'm a fan (obviously). :)
Should you get around to it, Sheila, my only recommendation is to come up with an idea and wait 6 months. If you still like it, go for it! I've had so many friends get spur-of-the-moment work and regret it.
