I normally don't go out of the house in sleeveless tops because I hate my upper arms but 1. it's too hot not to and 2. I have awesome tattoos that make me care less and less about my jiggly bits. Body modification for the positive!

Your arms are fine! You should wear sleeveless more often if you like that look on yourself! Specially if you have a tattoo you love! Covering up should be a choice for you, not others :D

Thanks Deborah-Lee! ^_^ I feel more confident now that I have the tattoos. They make me less self-conscious I guess.

Love all the blues! I would love to wear this outfit. I am worried about my arms constantly. As a matter of fact I am a teacher and school starts tomorrow. I am planning a Little black sleeveless dress for the second day of school and all I can think of is my arms. Obsessive...

Anyway, i found your blog through a link from Deborah-Lee (she is great) If you have a moment would you check out my blog, I love to get creative opinions.

Do you think a tatoo is the answer? MIne is on my back where no one can see it.

Thanks and I totally feel the obsessive part too! I have body dysmorphia and I've found that body modification (in my case, tattooing) has helped me to reclaim parts of my body that I otherwise hate and obsess over. Case in point, my upper arms. I've been told the only way to do anything with them was to have reconstructive/plastic surgery to remove the excess skin and fat. This was rather...gross to me. I instead turned to tattooing as a means of beautifying what I've got. I'm taking something I dislike and turning it into something I can and do love. My artist has been AMAZING in helping me through this change and sharing her own body-consciousness with me. I don't think this method of reclaimation is the answer for everyone but for me it's been fantastic.
